Co-Founder/Owner & Baseball/Softball Instructor
Andy Friess
A native of Cedarburg, WI, Coach Andy is the co-founder of Tri-Boro Diamond Sports Academy. He brings an extensive playing and coaching background to his role at DSA. Andy was a four-year varsity starter at Cedarburg High School, earning numerous awards, including All-Conference and All-State honors. Following high school, he accepted a full-scholarship to play at NAIA baseball powerhouse, Saint Xavier University (Chicago), where Andy was a four-year starter and earned Honorable Mention All-American,
All-Region and All-Conference honors as a catcher. Following a one-year stint with the Green Bay Sultans in the Prairie League of professional baseball (Ind.), Andy has focused on coaching and instructing players at all levels of competition. From Cedarburg High School to Marian University (WI) to Attleboro Youth Baseball to SAGRA Softball, AAU baseball, and club-level softball, Andy has developed players from little league through the collegiate level and is available for baseball and softball hitting, catching and general skills lessons at DSA.
DSA Softball Pitching & Skills Instructor
Michelle Edwards
A Mansfield, MA native and graduate of Mansfield High School and Stonehill College, Michelle Edwards joins the instructor staff at DSA. Michelle was a 3-year varsity starter at pitcher/third base while at Mansfield HS, earning Hockomock League All-Star and team MVP recognition, and competed in the MIAA state softball tournament for three consecutive years. She played at the club softball level throughout high school and was a four-year member of the 18U Junior Olympic team in addition to competing in the PONY nationals for four years. Following high school, Coach Michelle moved on to pitch at Stonehill College for three years before an injury ended her collegiate career. Following her playing days, Michelle served as a club softball head coach for three years before joining the Stonehill College softball coaching staff as pitching coach for four years. Coach Michelle will be a fantastic resource for area players and will be available for individual softball pitching and skills lessons at DSA. ​

Alex Espinal
DSA welcomes Alex Espinal to our instructor staff! Alex will serve as a baseball pitching Instructor, as well as general skills instructor for both Softball and baseball. He is currently a head coach at 10U Diamonds Softball, as well as an assistant coach with the Attleboro High School Varsity Softball program. Alex brings a strong playing resume, including training in the Dominican Republic baseball academies, along with his success on the diamond as a player. Coach Alex is now available for individual lessons at DSA.
DSA Baseball Pitching Instructor
Zach Fogell
Cumberland High School grad and professional baseball player in the Boston Red Sox organization, Zach Fogell brings his pitching expertise to the instructor team at DSA. A former pitcher at Brown University, with a graduate year played at UConn, Zach earned 1st Team All-Big East Conference and 1st Team All-Region accolades for the Huskies. Following his senior season, Zach was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 2023 MLB and completed his first professional season playing for the Salem Red Sox (Class A). Coach Zach will be available for individual pitching lessons at DSA
DSA Softball Hitting & Skills Instructor
Lizzie Burbine
Lizzie Burbine joins the Diamond Sports Academy as a softball hitting and general skills instructor. Originally from Nebraska; Lizzie played 10+ years of competitive softball before transitioning into a coaching role. In Nebraska she coached 12U-18U competitive club softball for 8 years as well as coaching a Division I high school softball team. During her three years in the program Lizzie directly assisted in sending multiple athletes to the Division I collegiate level (Nebraska, Georgia Tech, etc.), as well as graduating a 2019 Gatorade Player of the Year, and winning the 2021 Division I State Championship. Lizzie currently teaches special education for Attleboro Public Schools. She is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, studying the impact of behavior change in sports. Coach Lizzie brings a wide range of experience for a variety of age groups and will be available for softball hitting and general skills lessons at DSA.
DSA Baseball Pitching / General Skills Instructor
Niko George
Niko comes to DSA from Providence, RI, where he began his journey as a committed baseball player at an early age and played throughout New England on the travel baseball circuit. Additionally, Coach Niko spent time in Orlando, FL training year-round for baseball during his youth.

Cam Foster
Coach Cam comes to DSA from with strong pitching and baseball playing experience, stemming from his time as a two-way player at Attleboro High School. He was recruited collegiately to Rhode Island Collge (RIC) and played two seasons before transferring to Bryant University, where Cam completed his collegiate career as a pitcher for the Bulldogs Baseball program.

Cam is a great addition to the DSA baseball training staff and is available to book for baseball pitching or general baseball skills lessons for players of all ages. ​
DSA Baseball Youth Catching & General Skills Instructor
Aiden Hochwarter
Coach Aiden has played in AAU travel baseball for several years, and he is currently a freshman at UMass-Dartmouth, following a successful baseball career at Attleboro High School, as a 2-year starter at catcher for the Bombardiers varsity baseball team. Aiden is currently playing baseball collegiately at UMass-Dartmouth. He will be available for youth catching and general skills lessons at DSA.
DSA Youth Softball Pitching, Hitting & Skills Instructor
Lola Ronayne
An Attleboro native, Coach Lola has been a standout player at the club softball level for several years. She is currently a sophomore on the Attleboro High School varsity softball team looking to build on her successful freshman season as the starting shortstop and a pitcher on the Attleboro High School varsity softball team. In 2024, Lola hit .484 with 3 HR and 24 RBI to go along with a 3-2 record and 38 strikeouts on the mound. This performance earned her recognition including Hockomock League All-Star, Sun Chronicle All-Star and Attleboro High School Rookie of the Year. Lola will be available for youth softball pitching, hitting and general skills lessons at DSA.

Nate Tellier
Current Red Sox minor league prospect and Attleboro High School grad (2016), Nate Tellier, has joined the baseball training staff at DSA as a pitching and hitting instructor. Nate recently completed his second professional season in the Boston Red Sox organization, as a pitcher for the Salem Red Sox, following a successful collegiate career at UMass Dartmouth (degree in Biology). Throughout most of his time in the UMass Dartmouth baseball program, Nate played centerfield, prior to being converted to a full-time pitcher upon being signed by the Red Sox in 2020. Coach Nate will be available for individual pitching and hitting lessons at DSA. ​
DSA Youth Softball Pitching Instructor
Ciara McMenamin
Coach Ciara is a 5-year starter for the Archbishop Williams High School softball program, earning All-CCL in 2024, as well as Honorable Mention All-Scholastic honors. Ciara has also made her mark in international softball competition as a member of the 18U Ireland Women's National Softball Team, where she batted .425 in this year's Women's World Cup, as well as competing in the 2023 European World Championships in Prague. Ciara is currently in her senior year at Archbishop Williams HS and is a member of DSA's 18U Diamonds Softball team. She has committed to play softball at Curry College in the fall. Coach Ciara is available for youth pitching and general skills lessons at DSA.
